KARACHI: The Sindh government will issue Matric results by July 10 and intermediate results by July 31, the Education Ministry spokesperson said on Thursday.
The decision was taken during a meeting of all education boards chaired by Sindh Provincial Minister for Universities and Boards Ismail Rahoo.
According to the spokesman, the meeting reviewed the annual matric and intermediate examinations held across Sindh.
All educational boards informed the meeting about the tests that were conducted in their respective departments.
Rahoo directed that Matric results should be issued in all divisions of Sindh by July 10, while all boards should publish intermediate results by July 31.
During the briefing, officials said the education boards would issue Class 9 and Class 11 results by August 31.
“Results should be released on time so that the students can get timely relief in the admissions,” the minister said.
He said that every possible support would be provided to improve the transparency, merit and examination system of the education boards.
The meeting was also informed that cases were registered against several persons for violation of Section 144 during investigations in Karachi.
The annual tests took place in April and conclude in mid-June.
The investigations have been engulfed in controversy amid widespread allegations of bribery, paper leaks and serious administrative errors.
