A new NEW Strands puzzle appears at midnight every day for your time zone – meaning some people always play ‘today’s game’ while others play ‘yesterday’s’. If you’re looking for the Monday puzzle instead then click here: NEW Strand’s Hints and Answers for Monday, June 8 (Game #827).

NEW Strands today (game #828) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #828, are…
- SNACKS
- WAVES
- DECK
- SEA SICKNESS
- DRINK
- DANCE
- SPANGRAM: IMONABOAT
- My assessment: Easy
- My score: Perfect
Dramamine, anyone? I had absolutely no idea what that meant when I started this game – and I still don’t to be honest. Is it something to do with the Lonely Island song I’m on a boat?
Luckily, the word SNACKS was hiding in my favorite starting spot in the top left corner, so I got off to a good start despite my ignorance, but it wasn’t until I got WAVES and DECK that I realized today’s search was nautical.
The hardest word in this game was SEASICK, which zig-zagged around the board so much it actually made me feel a little seasick. If dramamine is what I think it is, then I need something.
Yesterday’s NYT Strand’s Answer (Monday, June 8, Game #827)
- CHIPS
- SHORT
- TILES
- BELTS
- TOKENS
- DICE
- SPINNERS
- SPANGRAM: GAMENIGHT
