Looks like Meta is having a rough Friday morning. From shortly before At 10 ET, reports started pouring in from users unable to access both Facebook and WhatsApp, and the number of complaints continued to rise.
The initial problems seem to be concentrated on WhatsApp, where users reported that the app’s main screen failed to load. Since then, however, Facebook has been the main cause of Meta’s problems this AM – I got something myself that went wrong, then just the classic logo, and then a blank feed that still hasn’t loaded. Down Detector reports have quickly risen to over 100,000 for Facebook issues.
