King Charles gets alarming health update amid cancer treatment

Alarming health update reaches King Charles home: ‘Harmful’

King Charles has been warned of a serious health crisis in a new statement.

Many British households, including the royal family’s palaces, have wood-burning stoves indoors; however, this practice is now associated with life-threatening illnesses.

According to the Global Action Plan, a sustainable future charity, it has called for a ban on wood burning inside houses to prevent health problems.

Not only that, but household firewood is also becoming a source of pollution, especially in the climate crisis.

King Charles is one of millions of people being warned about a simple at-home practice that has been linked to “respiratory and heart disease and cancer”. Global Action Plan is a sustainable future charity that calls for a ban on firewood in the home.

Open fireplaces are common in most royal residences. While current UK guidelines allow wood burning under certain rules, campaigners are pushing for a complete ban because of its harmful effects.

The Global Action Plan website is shared. “In the UK, household burning is a major contributor to outdoor air pollution, as the biggest source of PM2.5 pollution (27%), one of the most harmful air pollutants.

“It’s also a problem inside, as homes with wood-burning stoves have on average three times higher levels of PM2.5 than those without.
