President Donald Trump was among those who celebrated Kansas City Chiefs after their third straight AFC championship winnings to reach the Super Bowl with the chance in League History on the line.
Trump posted Truth Social after the 32-29 win over Buffalo Bills on Sunday, and he made sure to shout that part of Chiefs’ fanbase that voted for him in this year’s presidential election.
“Congratulations to Kansas City Chiefs,” Trump wrote. “What a good team, coach, quarterback and pretty much everything else, including the amazing fans who voted for me (Maga!) In record numbers.”

Chief’s head coach Andy Reid, Quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the rest of the team need another win to become the first team in the NFL to ever win three straight Super Bowls.
But Trump did not omit the bills despite another loss for Josh Allen & Co. in the hands of chiefs. While Allen may be 0-4 against Mahomes in his career after the season, Trump made a bold prediction that the team went on.

“Likewise congratulations to the Buffalo bills with a huge season. They will make a lot of wins long into the future !!!”
While Trump exhausted praise for both teams in AFC, he was silent about the Philadelphia Eagles, who won the NFC championship over the Washington commanders on Sunday when Saquon Barkley and Jalen hurt both scored three touchdowns on the ground in a 55-23 route .
There is history between Trump and both Chiefs and Eagles, the latter of which saw an invitation in the White House abolished.

In 2018, while Trump earned his first period, he pulled his invitation to Eagles to visit the White House after their Super Bowl victory over Tom Brady and New England Patriots.
It came after several Eagles players said they would not go to meet Trump after his comments about those who kneeled in protest of police brutality and racial injustice during the national anthem that season.
Trump said in a statement that Eagles were “unable to participate in the military and the population of our country.”

Meanwhile, Chiefs won their first Super Bowl of their dynasty in the 2020 season, just weeks after the presidency went to Joe Biden. But during the previous election year, players such as Chiefs Kicker Harrison Butker supported a spokesman for life, public Trump.
And although he would not approve a candidate in public, Mahomes’ wife, Brittany, and his mother, Randi, both made public traits showing their support for Trump.
Brittany’s Instagram account was discovered that liked Trump’s policy platform in 2024 in August, resulting in setbacks on social media. But she took it to another level when she later liked a comment under one of her Instagram posts reading, “Trump-Vance 2024.”

Meanwhile, Randi was discovered on a Chiefs game wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat that clearly showed who she supported in the election.
Chiefs and Eagles start in New Orleans’ Caesar Superdome on February 9 to decide who will be crowned for this year’s NFL champion.
