Princess Beatrice’s dark cloud of troubles is not over yet as her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi has issued a dire warning about a major problem that needs action.
The couple reportedly faced marital problems, particularly due to Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s scandal. Also, it didn’t help that the recently released audit report from the NAO revealed that King Charles has been covering their royal rent.
The castle is revising the agreement on whether they should continue with the rent or have them evicted. Edoardo is now taking desperate measures to save their chances of making money.
According to author Paula Froelich, real estate developer Edoardo is being tested in his marriage, especially with the ongoing reports of his marriage to Beatrice. However, he is adamant that he does not want any more damage caused by his disgraced father-in-law.
“I think Edo kind of looks at Beatrice and says, ‘No, don’t contact your dad. Don’t bypass him,'” she told host Tom Sykes on The Royalist Podcast.
“I think it’s a lot more to do with his own business… which of course has taken off since he left his ex, Dara Wang, and immediately joined Beatrice.”
She continued: “So of course he says, ‘Don’t go there, don’t come near your father, he’s toxic and my business will fail’.”
The report comes after Edoardo clarified his solo travels, saying it’s “completely normal for a business owner to travel for work. It happens in all industries”. He issued the statement after he was criticized for leaving his wife behind, especially as she dealt with the emotional impact of her father’s shame.
