- Nvidias RTX 5070 TI is reportedly sold on February 20
- This is allegedly info retrieved directly from Nvidia of a technical place
- This date matches some previous rumors, making it seem more likely
Nvidia’s RTX 5070 Ti could be out on February 20, or it is the latest speech coming from the rumor mill, taken with the usual clamp of spices as ever.
Videocardz has a scoop on this one, with the technical site that informs us that this is words from Nvidia herself, thanks to the latest info on reviewing Embargo from Team Green.
Obviously, this should still be considered a rumor, but the theory is that reviews of RTX 5070 TI graphics cards turned to MSRP ($ 749 in the US, or £ 749 / AU $ 1,109) arrive on February 19 , and the above above the MSRP level follows the next day, with the GPUs all on shelves on the same day on February 20th.
There is an important point to note about the RTX 5070 TI, and it is the fact that this graphics card does not have a founder edition from Nvidia, unlike all the other GeForce Blackwell models that have been announced so far.
In other words, it is only third-party RTX 5070 TI-Graphics Card (from Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, PNY and ZOTAC).
According to Videocardz, Nvidia initially intended to launch these RTX 5070 TI models on February 14, but this date was set back due to the Chinese New Year (and presumably shares concerns therein).
All Nvidia has officially said is that the RTX 5070 models, both the vanilla and ten graphics cards, will be out in February 2025.
Reinforcement of past rumors and concerns about RTX 5070 timing
It is no surprise to hear that Nvidia plans to loosen the RTX 5070 ten later in February, as this is something we have caught the wind before. Previously, there were some speculation about a middle of late until the end of the February release before a dealer actually erected a launch date on February 20, as it was sent here.
Nor is it surprising that the RTX 5070 ten could show up later next month, considering the rumors we have heard of stock shortages – and there has been much of the chat that flows around. Such a weight, in fact, that it becomes easier and easier to think that Nvidia will have problems here (and it is not as if this has not happened before).
So the hope of the RTX 5070 Ti is that, unlike the rumors around the RTX 5080, we actually get a decent amount of graphics card priced for MSRP (or at least very close to it).
The difference with the RTX 5070 TI is that, as mentioned above, there is no founding edition in place emphasized MSRP. So you hope Nvidia will push to make sure its card making partners will have an appropriate selection of 5070 ten models on that MSRP, otherwise, yes, to set the recommended price level start to look a little meaningless (if everyone is ignoring it) .
Moving from hope to fear with the RTX 5070 Ti, this is that the stock will sell Lightning-Quick when we get the first semi-affordable-a relative expression, of course-Blackwell GPU that is actually available to buy. In particular, these graphics cards on MSRP may disappear in the flash of a beam -tracked eye, and we may be waiting for some time before the stock level is increased slightly (given the inevitable price scalping).
The second question is if the RTX 5070 ten is expected on February 20, where does it leave the RTX 5070? To be fair, in theory the vanilla card could be close to the back, and as it seizes more interest than 5070 ten at the moment – as players are not convinced that 5070 ten will give a convincing lift over 4070 ten – which may draw the focus from ten -The model in short order.
This is all guesswork natural, definitely the conversation around the RTX 5070 Ten looks like a less sturdy next-gen upgrade-it is mostly based on a pair of nvidia benefit graphs, GPU’s specifications and drawing parallels based on how RTX 5090 paned in relative To its predecessor – and then these are performances that we should not be brought away with.
There are also some rumors that the RTX 5070 may have been delayed by March 2025, and if there is anything about the special smoldering fire – without mentioning this GPU from NVIDIA yet, apparently – apparently – the RTX 5070 TI may be the only option for Blackwell Mid-Range table for a little while. Everything that AMD seems to get into the game with its RX 9070 models in March, although these GPUs have been exposed to lots of their own controversy.
In fact, I’m not sure I can ever remember a period before launching GPUs that have been so thick with rumors and oddities than this current driveway to Blackwell and RDNA 4.
