Islamabad:
In a disciplinary act, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has rejected 13 officials for alleged negligence and abandonment of the duty attached to the Greek boat tragedy in 2024.
The officials include 1 inspector, 2 sub -inspectors, 2 main constables and 8 constables.
In addition, promotions of three constables have been stopped as part of the internal responsibility process.
According to FIA Head of Director Ahmed Ishaq Jahangir, strict action is taken against FIA officials involved in illegal activities. “Officials who exploit innocent citizens are not entitled to any easing,” he claimed.
