Pat Mahomes Sr., father of two-time NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes, is back in the limelight.
The oldest Mahomes claims he was not responsible for a recent comment sent to his social media account, which seemed to refer to Buffalo Bills.
“Today is a great day not to be from Buffalo,” said Mahomes Sr.’s X account after Kansas City Chiefs’ victory over the bills in Sunday’s AFC championship game.

The former MLB jug later went to his Instagram account to try to clear the air by claiming he was the victim of a social media hack.
“Has not been on Twitter/X this year,” Mahomes Sr. “My account was hacked and I don’t have access to it. Pls disregard any tweets from @pmahomes.”

He added another statement to his Instagram account.

Mahomes Sr. Also offered an apology in an Instagram story post and wrote, “Sorry for the misunderstanding. Never would.”
The account in question seems to have been moderately active over the past several months after a long period with almost no positions dating back to December 2022. The account has shared about six positions since June 2024.
It was unclear if any of the six recent posts were compromised.
Some of the account’s previous submissions refer to the MLB icon Willie Mays. The baseball legend died at the age of 93 in June. The Social Media page also includes pictures of oldest Mahomes wearing his Minnesota Twins Jersey and Chiefs Quarterback when he was baby.
