With all eyes on the newly released Assassin’s Creed Black Flag resyncthere’s a good chance that one of Ubisoft’s most interesting announcements has passed you by. The company quietly confirmed this last week Crew Motorfest coming to Nintendo Switch 2.

In my eyes this is pretty excellent news as the Switch 2 has been in serious need of some more quality racing games.
Of course you are doing great Mario Kart World (not to mention Kirby Air Riders), but if you want something a little more realistic, your only real option so far has been Grid Legends: Definitive Editionwhich focuses exclusively on track racing.
Crew Motorfest is a proper AAA open-world experience that lets you drive everywhere in hundreds of officially licensed cars, plus a handful of planes and boats for when you want to spice things up.
It’s set in a massive recreation of Hawaii, with plenty of real-life cities and landmarks represented, in the midst of hosting a huge international car festival. Yes, it’s a very similar premise to Forza Horizon game – but is it really such a bad thing?
It is a proven formula and without words Forza Horizon 6 Nintendo Switch 2 port yet I think Crew Motorfest will fill a very significant niche.
The port is set to arrive on October 8, with a physical retail version planned alongside a digital release.
