A North Carolina judge reportedly issued an arrest warrant for Bill Belichick’s daughter-in-law on Monday after she allegedly failed to appear in court on a speeding violation.

Jen Belichick, the wife of North Carolina Tar Heels football defensive coordinator Steve Belichick, was pulled over by the North Carolina State Highway Patrol on May 21 for allegedly going 88 mph in a 70 mph zone in Brunswick County, the California Post reported, citing court records.

She was charged with misdemeanor speeding and was scheduled to appear in court Friday.

Belichick failed to appear in court, leading to the warrant for her arrest. A court official told the California Post she has three options now. She could file a motion to revoke the order, hire a lawyer to defend her in the case, or go to the authorities.

She has not commented on the order. Pakinomist Digital reached out to a Brunswick County clerk for comment.

She has been married to Steve Belichick for about 10 years and the two have several children together. For more than a year, she has apparently been feuding with Bill Belichick’s boyfriend, Jordon Hudson.

Jen Belichick criticized Hudson over her decision to interrupt an interview question when Bill Belichick sat down with CBS News in May 2025. She reportedly had a confrontation with Hudson inside the Tar Heels head coach’s office over a series of questions.
