PML-N reviews election strategy, orders door-to-door campaign and mobilization of supporters across the region
MUZAFFARABAD:
The central leadership of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) held an important consultative meeting with party leaders on Friday to review arrangements for party president Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s upcoming visit to the region and arrangements for election rallies.
The participants decided that Nawaz would address two major election rallies in Muzaffarabad and Mirpur during his visit to AJK. CM Maryam is also expected to accompany him at both the public gatherings.
The meeting reviewed the party’s election campaign, organizational coordination, convention arrangements and overall election strategy. The leadership directed party workers to further intensify the campaign by launching extensive door-to-door outreach efforts and mobilizing supporters across the region.
Speaking on the occasion, Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON Engineer Amir Muqam said PML-N would wage a vigorous election campaign in AJK, adding that resolving public issues and ensuring the region’s development and prosperity remained the party’s top priorities.
He said that the PML-N government had completed several major development projects in AJK and noted that the Prime Minister had announced the establishment of Daanish schools in the area without any formal demand from the AJK government.
Muqam stressed the need for timely, free and transparent elections and described them as the most effective means of solving public problems. He said that the PML-N leadership had a long-standing commitment to the people of Kashmir and had always stood by them in difficult times.
At the end of the meeting, participants expressed confidence that the party would secure victory in the 27 July 2026 general election in AJK based on its public service record, development agenda and governance.

Gillani, party candidates from various constituencies, local government representatives and workers.
