Police have not announced any arrests. They also did not say what the burglars took, how they got into the home or how many people were involved.

Detectives are investigating a large white SUV that may have been connected to the burglary. Police released a photo of the vehicle and asked the public for help identifying it.

The Tredyffrin Township Police Department said it had not received reports of similar activity elsewhere in the area. The Chester County District Attorney’s Office is assisting with the investigation.

The break-in comes amid increased concern about thieves targeting professional athletes.
