Prediction market platform Kalshi launched its US “Midterms Hub” as it seeks to position itself as the primary reference for US election odds
The new hub will allow users to observe the results speculators expect in the individual US Senate and House of Representatives as the country heads toward elections in November, Kalshi said in a press release sent Wednesday.
Kalshi said Midterms Hub will provide a live snapshot of where users are willing to place their bets at any given time. “It’s designed as the one-stop shop for state and federal election forecast pictures of where a race stands,” Kalshi said.
The results are based on the latest odds for each market and across a map of the United States, Kalshi said in the statement.
The name will also include polling averages so potential players can see how predictable market odds compare to what statistical surveys of voters show, the latest fundraising reports from the Federal Election Commission for individual candidates and curated news and analysis from various outlets.
The announcement follows news reports that Kalshi Inc. is seeking regulatory approval from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission to expand its perpetual contracts outside of crypto.
