SquareLocator, a discovery platform for the Squarespace ecosystem, launched last month. The platform aims to cut through the noise of traditional search by offering a curated list of Squarespace tools, templates, plugins and specialist services, making it easier for designers, developers and creators to find the trusted tools they need to build great websites.
In a press release shared with TechRadar Pro, SquareLocator highlights the issues surrounding Squarespace users navigating thousands of Google results, social media recommendations, and fragmented community forums.
“I realized I wasn’t looking for more options,” says Miles Noble, founder of SquareLocator. “I searched for better recommendations”.
Giving independent creators a platform
The problem for agencies, developers and DIY Squarespace users is finding the right tools for the job. So for the developers of these tools, getting discovered and monetizing their skills and hard work is one of their biggest challenges. This is the gap SquareLocator promises to help close.
“SquareLocator started as something I wished already existed,” shares Noble. “As I spoke with several designers, developers and creators, I realized I wasn’t the only one facing this challenge.
