The The Devil Wears Prada 2 has arrived on Hulu and will stream starting Wednesday, July 29, roughly three months after ending its theatrical run and passing the billion-dollar mark for the franchise at the global box office.
The sequel, which arrives on Hulu at 3 a.m. ET, Anne Hathaway’s Andy Sachs catches up two decades after the events of the original film as she returns to Runway magazine to work under editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly, once again played by Meryl Streep, as the publication’s new features editor.
Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci also reprise their roles from the 2006 original, with the sequel adding Simone Ashley, Caleb Hearon and Justin Theroux to the cast, along with cameos from characters including Jon Batiste, Ciara, Karl-Anthony Towns and Lady Gaga.
The film opened in theaters on May 1 and grossed more than $676 million worldwide, pushing the two-film franchise’s combined global total to over $1 billion.
Prior to its streaming debut, the film also became available on digital platforms including Prime Video, Apple TV and Fandango at Home in late June, followed by a 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray release on July 28.
Hulu’s basic, ad-supported tier is priced at $11.99 per month, with an ad-free option available for $18.99 per month for those looking to catch up on Runway’s latest drama at home.
