“He has done a good job. He has done a good job. He relaxed me out of my straight jackets a little today,” Hurts told journalists.
But on Friday, Hurts insisted that comment was just a joke. “I was just joking after the game,” Hurt’s journalists said.

Under his media availability on Tuesday, Sirianni asked the comment “Straightjacket”.
“I think he was having fun after the game, we’ve won a few different ways this year. … But I know this and he has said this many times he doesn’t care how we win, I don ‘It’s interested in how we win as long as we win.

Throughout large parts of the 2023 season, Hurts navigated and Sirianni navigated after a somewhat tense relationship. Last August, a report from ESPN quoted a source of direct knowledge describing the last season’s dynamics between the coach and quarterback as “broken.”
After starting the 2023 campaign with a 10-1 record, Eagles won only one of their last six games. Philadelphia then suffered a 32-9 loss to Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Wild-Card Round. The early playoff output came on the heels of the Eagles performance in the Super Bowl the previous season.

However, the end of the regular season 2024 and the autumn period has been very different for Phily. Sirianni, Hurts, and Eagles were presented to George Halas Trophy last Sunday after the team won the conference title and got somewhere in the Super Bowl Lix.
