Resignation Season 2 Have all of us on the edge of our seats and they tease us again with weekly releases. Section 3 of one of the best Apple TV Plus shows is finally here and it wrapped up a lot in its hour-long runtime. Most notable, of course, were the goats, but we also had our first look at Gwendoline Christie’s new character and witnessed Mark, who made a shocking decision on resignation. Elsewhere, Dylan’s latest fringe could prove to plague him.

Cobel’s job offer
The episode still sees Cobel on the road after suddenly driving away from Mark, who confronted her outside her home. When she reaches an unknown place called Salt’s Neck, she decides to turn and go back but as most things cobel do we don’t quite know why.
Cobel leads to Lumon, where she meets Helena after considering the job offer. She says that if she returns she will keep an eye on MDR so she can see Mark Complete Cold Harbor, one of the biggest Resignation Mysteries. She is also not happy that Milchick is running the show and wants him away, but Helena pushes back on this.
Not for the first time Cobel suddenly leaves the meeting and drives off, so she has constantly run away from her problems and fears recently. Something weird is going on and I want to know what!
Meeting a new department
At this point, Mark is now fully back to working on Lumon. We see him timing how long it takes to get into Lumon to the point where he is cut off, where he obviously switches to Innie Mark and suddenly stops the countdown.
He is on a mission, prints flyers of a Mrs Casey drawing and asks Helly and Irving to pass them around the Lumon Department. It is also important to note that Helly still acts strangely about Mark and not at all like Helly. Nevertheless, she helps to mark his quest to find Mrs. Casey.
They encounter a little time. They crawl through it and find it leading to a large space full of goats on what seems to be artificial grass. We then meet a brand new team led by Gwendoline Christine, who is immediately suspicious of MDR and asks if they will kill her (not a normal question to ask at work but okay …). She reveals that this department is called mammals that are nurturing, and hi presto we have one new Department – and it’s attached to the goats that have fascinated fans enough to inspire lots of Resignation Ged theories.
Mark and Helly talk to the woman and ask her if she knows something about the wellness department or Mrs. Casey. Mark reminds her that if they can make Mrs. Casey disappear, some of them could follow, including their goats, and it seems to do so. She eventually admits that Ms. Casey used to conduct wellness sessions in their “household tanks.” She and her staff seem to have wished for her; They think she withdrew, but tells Mark that they will not get in the way if he thinks otherwise. So at least that’s something.
Milchick’s troubling gift from the board
Natalie arrives at Milchick’s office to present him with a gift from the board. But he becomes visibly uncomfortable when he is aware that they are a number of paintings that recontextualize Lumon’s history of black versions of Kier and his topics. With her earpiece connected to the mysterious board, Natalie manages some of company -approved messaging and says: “The board wants to be able to feel you feel connected to Lumon’s history. To this end, please accept from the Board of Directors, including re-cannonized paintings that aim to help you see yourself in Kier, our founder. “
She also claims that she received the same gift and was “moved” by it, but when the board ends the call, Milchick and she exchange an unpleasant look before going back to her forced smile. Natalie’s facade has gone for a short moment and I am excited to see if she is also starting to rebel against Lumon. Milchick understandably packs the paintings and puts them away.
Dylan’s Innie and Gretchen
In a very emotional scene, Ms. Huang to get Dylan and leads him to the former security room, which has now been transformed into the Outie Visiting Room. It turns out that Milchick was right when he teased these plans for Dylan, and that has the potential to be one of the most winding “perks” that Lumon has come up with.
Dylan learns that he “has earned” an 18-minute visit with his outie’s wife, Gretchen, where they discuss their three children and get a little closer. When Dylan’s session with his wife ends, she tells him that she is proud of him and loves him. He doesn’t know how to react but feels good. Later, Dylan’s Outie sees the children and when asked about the visit, Gretchen tells him it was “weird but good.”
Mark’s big decision and a surprise visit
Natalie visits Devon’s home to discuss Ricken’s book, which became an unexpected hit after it was found on the cut floor. Lumon wants an “Innie version” of the book, considering that they liked it so much, but it’s pretty suspicious that Lumon continues to rock up to Devon and Ricken’s home.
Devon is as suspicious of Devon as she is of Milchick and leaves to meet with Mark. They try to burn a picture in his retina to take in lumon, but as we have seen before, previous attempts to sneak in and out have not gone well.
Asai Reghabi emerges and prevents him from going through with this bold idea. She tells him that his wife Gemma lives and that there is only one way to get information in and out of lumon: reintegration. Now reintegration is a controversial choice, given that the killed Petey in Resignation Season 1, but as Mark is desperate, he decides to go through with the procedure to hopefully sew his memories together again.
Asai and Mark begin the reintegration process. And this episode ends with the two sides of Mark’s persona that mixes, suggesting that the reintegration process may work this time, but now I’m pretty scared of Mark’s mental and physical health.
