PM Youth Loan Program to offer financial support to laptops

A government official announced that the Prime Minister’s youth loan scheme has been expanded to provide financial assistance to business companies and the purchase of laptop.

The decision was revealed by Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, special assistant to the Prime Minister of Youth Affairs, who declared that State Bank of Pakistan has issued an official report of the scheme.

According to the message, students aged 18 to 30 years who are currently enrolled in the Higher Education Commission (HEC)-)-approved institutions that are eligible to apply for portable loans.

In addition, the scheme has been expanded to support young people seeking employment abroad. During this initiative, those who plan to work abroad can receive up to RS1 million in loans to cover training, visa and travel expenses.

Rana Mashhood emphasized that the government is obliged to create more opportunities for youth. He noted that over RS186 billion in loans has already been paid out under the Prime Minister’s youth loan scheme to strengthen young people nationwide.

A couple of weeks ago, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif conducted an increase in the loan amount during the youth program from RS 500,000 to RS 1.5 million.

A review meeting on small and medium -sized businesses was held today in Islamabad, led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, where the Prime Minister directed a detailed study of being completed soon to facilitate businesses.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister emphasized to adapt the facilities delivered to small and medium -sized companies with international standards by implementing models from developed countries.

He also instructed that a special package for female entrepreneurs in small businesses will be prepared and presented soon.

The Prime Minister noted that small and medium -sized businesses (SMEs) are key to global economic development. The government is obliged to encourage SMEs to promote entrepreneurship within Pakistan’s workforce.

Shehbaz Sharif emphasized that the government is working to strengthen youth and female entrepreneurs to create an independent profession and create more job opportunities.
