The top military brass on Tuesday emphasized the need to accelerate human-centered socio-economic development initiatives in Balochistan and acknowledged the urgent to counteract externally driven tales of exclusion.
Chief of Army Staff (Coas) General Syed Asim Munir presided for 267. Corps Commanders’ Conference at General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi. The forum conducted a comprehensive review of the regional and internal security landscape and assessed the full spectrum of threats, the military said.
According to a news message issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the military, the meeting promised to foil the dishonest design of the foreign sponsored proxies trying to radicalize Balochistan’s youth.
“No one is allowed to disrupt the peace in Balochistan and unpleasant design of foreign sponsored proxies trying to mislead and radicalize the youth in Balochistan will be decisive with the unwavering support of the population of Balochistan,” ISPR said.
The meeting came just a few days after 18 service men were martyrated while fighting terrorists in central Balochistan’s Kalat District. Security forces also killed 23 terrorists trying to set up roadblocks in the district of their terrorist activities.
After the incident, army chief Balochistan visited on Saturday. When he spoke to the apartment, he promised to hunt and defeat the so -called “frenemies” and warn that terrorist profile of their foreign masters “are well known to us”. These so -called “frenemics” he added, “will definitely be defeated”.
According to the ISPR, the conference recognized where the speed was counteracted externally driven tales of exclusion in the province. The forum emphasized the need to accelerate human-centered socio-economic development initiatives in Balochistan, the press release said.
In solidarity with the resilient people in Kashmir on the threshold of Kashmir Solidarity Day (today), the forum strongly condemned the continued obvious human rights offenses in the Indian-lykally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), recognizing these violations as a serious threat to regional regional Peace and stability.
To repeat Pakistan’s unwavering support for the legitimate struggle for the Kashmiri people for their right to self-determination, as wrapped in relevant UN security council solutions, the forum emphasized the importance of international commitment to tackle these sustained violations.
Participants discussed the prevailing situation along the control line (LOC) and the work limit. The forum was seriously noted about the recent reckless and provocative statements of the Indian military leadership and termed them “irresponsible and harmful” with regional stability.
“These hollow statements from the Indian military are signs of their growing frustration and serve only to divert attention from their masses and the international community from their multiple internal cracks and obvious human rights violations,” said Gen Asim Munir while addressing the forum.
“Pakistani army remains fully prepared to defend the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity,” the army chief said. “Any misadventure against Pakistan will be reacted with the full and resolute strength of the state, Inshaallah.”
The ISPR press message said the conference expressed serious concern over the continued use of Afghan Earth by Fitna Al Khawarij-ET expression used for the terrorists belonging to the forbidden Tehreek-Etaliban Pakistan (TTP)-to terrorist activities against Pakistan.
“The forum emphasized the imperative about concrete and tangible acts of the preliminary Afghan government against Fitna Al Khawarij instead of denial as well as continuing with the strategy to implement all necessary measures in defense of Pakistan and its people,” it added.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Ispr said, the participants paid tribute to the victims of the victims of Shuhada from the armed forces, law enforcement agencies and the citizens who have determined “their lives in the persecution of peace and stability of their beloved motherland”.
By reassuring the operational readiness of all formations, the army chief emphasized the importance of sustained mission -oriented education, improved military cooperation and the construction of joint exercises in both conventional and terrorist domains.
Completed the conference, Gen Asim Munir confirmed that military leadership remained fully to be aware of the multifaceted challenges that confronted the nation and were resolute in fulfilling his constitutional responsibility with the steadfast support of the proud people of Pakistan.
