New Orleans – As a rookie, New York experienced Giants wide receiving Jalin Hyatt a subpar season after the team had just come out of a race involving the team’s first playoff victory since they won the Super Bowl XLVI.
What happened the last normal season was even worse.
A 3-14 record transferred Giants who cut ties with their quarterback, Daniel Jones, signed for a four-year-old, $ 160 million contract extension in the previous season.

Meanwhile, Saquon chose Barkley, who Giants slammed with a franchise brand instead of expanding, Philadelphia Eagles in free agency this last season and led the league in rushing while helping his team reach the Super Bowl Lix this week.
So Hyatt, who, by coming down to New Orleans to represent World of Hyatt on Radio Row, knows that 2024 was a year not to write home about. However, he had nothing but an optimistic view of next year.
“Obviously, not what we want as a team, but I think for us, we just have to continue to build,” he told Pakinomist Digital. “We have good players on our team, and hopefully we can bring in the right guys next year to help us win. I have full faith in this team so we’ll see what we can do.”

Hyatt knows the only way forward after a bad season is to take the first step in the right direction.
Personally, he comes out for a year after showing flashes in his rookie campaign. When Giants fought sharply with offense, Hyatt’s role was diminished, especially with the emergence of the first round pick Malik Nabers added to the mixture of the recipient talent. Hyatt played only 33% of the offensive snaps in 2024 compared to 51% in his rookie year.
Hyatt is on its way to Dallas after his performance in Big Easy to begin his offseason training with the idea of competing for a top recipient position in year 3 with New York.

“Knowing that I want to play on the outside more than I thought I should continue to get stronger,” he said of his goals for the high season. “For me, it’s just developing – working on catches, working on routes, working on things I know I need to work on and be ready for next year.”
And moving on to Giants also includes looking ahead to a new quarterback that throws him football. While there are free-agent options out there, the NFL draft is where many believe that Giants, with the third overall election, will try happiness again on a quarterback of the future.
Whatever it can be – Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders and Miamis Cam Ward are the front trunners of the Quarterback position – Hyatt knows the characteristic feature he wants most in his new signal call.
“Whoever comes in, I just want them to be a leader,” he said. “I want them to be a leader. I want them to understand when you come to giants, you have media, you have to worry about – a lot of things playing in New York you have to go through. Not only It, but say that we lose, I want a quarterback to come in, who knows how to be confident and get in the next game and have more confidence in yourself.
“So it’s going to be fun next year. I think we’ve got the right guys in the room. We just have to add a few more and we’ll be in order.”
Giants have building blocks, with Nabre and Colleague Rookie, who runs back Tyrone Tracy at the forefront of violation. But Hyatt also discussed the last part: having the right guys in the dressing room to lead the way with the coaching staff led by Brian Daboll, who drove into what many consider a make-or-break fourth season at the helm.
“I’m just saying it because of how we fought, even with the losing season we had,” Hyatt said in terms of senior management. “Obviously, we didn’t win many games and had a lot of tab back-to-back. Just watching that team get in practice, practice as if we’re unbeaten, and practiced as if we’re going to win. Just watching guys Still going out there showing efforts in weeks 16, 17 and 18 shows, I can just tell, senior management in that room.
“For us, we just have to start on the right road and right foot. We had to start with a win to start the season and build from there.”
To create memories with World of Hyatt
With the surname that fits perfectly, Hyatt has been collaborated with World of Hyatt for the past three years, and they have collaborated on a fun experience that anyone can participate in at home and in this year’s Super Bowl Host City.
