Sale of tablet blooms … finally

This year, Mukka added: “As the PC market is turning towards a commercial update cycle, there is also an improvement in demand for tablets.”
More than half (52%) of channel partners selling commercial tablets expect shipments to continue to rise by 2025, but Canalys predicts a more “limited performance.”
Canaly’s track over 16,800 Apple tablet shipments in the fourth quarter and highlight the occurrence of iPad on the market. Its 42.3% market share, up from 39.2% in 2023, is more than Double Samsung’s 17.8% share in second place.
2024 was an extremely busy year for Apple, with an updated iPad mini-launch in October and M2 iPad Air and M4 iPad Pro launched side by side in May. IPados also brought new Apple Intelligence features to the beloved devices in the last few months.
Although supported by Apple, Canlays also noticed the effect of Chinese manufacturers in the tablet market. Huawei and Xiaomi took a total of 13% of the market in 2024.
