Quordle Today (Game #1111) – the answers
The answers to today’s Quordle, Game #1111, is …
Another close shave. After a couple of unlucky guesses and a wild (fussy was an extremely unlikely punt), I almost managed to complete today’s puzzle.
The word on the foot is automatically connected to “The game is on foot”, a moldsproop pronounced by Sherlock Holmes to Watson when his feelings of discovery are stabbed by a case. The term was not invented by author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, but by Shakespeare’s Henry V and his passionate plea that the English people should take up weapons.
Whatever its origins to me, today’s classic games were not on foot, but the sequence was for sure, and I somehow pulled rabbits out of hats to conjure up the four words. A very woozy experience.
How did you do today? Tell me that in the comments below.
