The tragic incident took place on February 7, 2025, when a baby girl was found alive but buried in the cemetery. Thanks to the quick intervention of the 1122 rescue team, the baby was rescued and rushed to a nearby hospital.
After learning from the incident while underwent training in Risalpur Training Center, Major Waqas immediately rushed to the hospital.
After completing the necessary legal procedures, he adopted the baby girl through a civil court and gave her a new life. His selfless action has been widely praised over social media and local media channels.
