When reports virns that the New York Jets will move on from Aaron Rodgers this season, his media performance can be included in the decision.
Rodgers joined Jets in the high season ahead of the 2023 season after spending 18 years with Green Bay Packers.
Before his departure, Rodgers found himself in some controversy, especially when he said he was “immunized” against the Covid-19 virus. He also spoke lovingly about Hallucinogen Ayahuasca.
Then, shortly after what became his last game with Packers, he went on a “dark retreat.”

Throughout this time, Rodgers had become a cornerstone of ESPN’s “The Pat McAfee Show”, which he had been known to push the envelope.
Rodgers have continued to make controversial headlines during its appearances on the show, including calling Dr. Anthony Fauci for his vaccine measures connecting Jimmy Kimmel to Jeffrey Epstein and mocked “celebrities bought by China” prior to the presidential election in 2024.
A new report from Athletic claims new Jets Brass told Rodgers he would not be allowed to perform on the show if he plays for Jets in 2025.
“I was told that when they had conversations with Aaron Rodgers about what the future would look like, ‘If you want to be part of this team, you will attend the entire training camp, you will not do Pat McAfee interviews anymore, ‘”Dianna Russini said at her” Scoop City “podcast. “They had a conversation with him about, ‘If you were to live here, here’s how we wanted it to be.'”

Jets hired Aaron Glenn as their main coach last month and brought Darren Mougey as their General Manager. Apparently, Glenn Rodgers told that Quarterback should comply with Glenn’s terms, which included full seasonal involvement.
Rodgers had an untapped absence from mandatory minicamp, which turned out to be a planned trip in Egypt. Robert Saleh, the main coach at the time, said, “If it’s important to Aaron, it’s important to us.”
Maybe Rodgers’ time with Jets was done anyway. In a season when they had the least expectations for playoffs, they went 5-12 with Rodgers under the center. And even though there were times, he looked like he turned back the clock, mostly he looked like a quarterback on the wrong side of 40 that came out of a serious Achilles injury.

Maybe it robbed the damage Rodgers and Jets of a Run, but with the team that lost two games in 2024 than it had in 2023 when Zach Wilson took over for Rodgers – even after adding Davante Adams – it may be time to close the door.
