Instagram tests a new feature to introduce a “non -lide -button” that “gives people a private way of signaling that they are not comfortable with the particular comment,” Instagram leader Adam Mosseri said in a post on social Media page threads.
The button is a downward arrow next to the similar button in the comments.
“I want to be clear: This is a test that is no reluctance, nor will anyone know if you press the button,” he added.

In the end, the social media site may be able to integrate this into comments that rank to move, dislike comments lower down. “Our hope is that this can help make comments more friendly on Instagram,” Mosseri added.
“We work in ways to help people better control their Instagram experience and what they see on the app,” quoted Verge Instagram man Christine Pai.
“We test a new button next to each comment on a roller or feed post for people to private signal that they are not comfortable with the particular comment or find it relevant, with a small group of people to start. Later, we can also test the relocation of these comments lower down in the comments section to help create a better experience. “
