Chris Kluwe Stop: Ex-NFL Punter completed by the City Council meeting

Former NFL -Punter Chris Kluwe was arrested after protesting at a City Council meeting in Huntington Beach, California, Wednesday.

The reason for Kluwe’s protest was about a sign proposed to Huntington Beach’s public library, which would have the words “magical”, “enticing”, “galvanizing” and “adventurous” next to each other. The words spell maga.

“Through hope and change, our nation has built back better to the golden era of making America great again!” The signage sounds.

Video caught Kluwe talking at the City Council meeting, criticizing the Maga movement, which is usually associated with President Donald Trump’s campaign message, “Make America great again.” He opinated that it was “a Nazi movement.”

All seven of the Huntington Beach Council members are Republicans.

“I will now participate in the time -laid American tradition of peaceful civil disobedience,” Kluwe said at the end of his speech to the city council before heading up to the front where the council members sat.

Video posted by HB Protect on X showed that police officers quickly arrested Kluwe, who was the front of the floor with a quantity cheering behind him for his actions. The City Council’s feed was carved before Kluwe was seen rushing council members.

Then he was performed by three police officers, two of whom had one arm each and the other carrying the legs of the former puns.

Kluwe was charged with disturbing an assembly. He told the Orange County register that he was released about four hours after his arrest. He said his faith was that the plaque was more “propaganda” than celebrating the library celebrating its 50 -year anniversary this year.

Kluwe, 43, played eight years in the NFL, all for the Minnesota Vikings, from 2005-12. He had short stints with the then Oakland Raiders and Seattle Seahawks.

Kluwe has been obvious in the past and criticized homophobia in the NFL and also supports marriage of the same sex and gay rights. He claims to have been fired from the Vikings for his views on marriage of the same sex.
