If the expectation of the re-fight between Team USA and Team Canada in 4 Nations Face-off was not high enough, Mike Eruzione’s speech will almost do it for any supporter of the stars and stripes.
The NHL teased their “4 Nations Face-off: Unveiled” show, one behind the scenes Look at the NHL stars playing for their countries, with the captain “Miracle on Ice”, giving a speech at a team dinner.
“Miracle on Ice” American Team was the famous team that took down the Soviet Union in winter -Ol in 1980 to win the gold medal. Eruzione, 70, was the captain of the famous team.

While unknown when the speech took place, the words Eruzione told Team USA is simply perfect in front of the championship.
“When you put that shirt on, it separates you,” Eruzione said. “This is a big thing and you will send a message to how far we have come in this country and the type of players we have.”
The message was already broadcast in Montreal when these two teams met on the last Saturday, a game in which three games broke out in nine seconds, and Team USA eventually scored three missed goals for the 3-1 win.

There were also some controversies and tensions that led to these matches as the puck fell as Canadian fans let boos out during the American national anthem, like players like Matthew Tkachuk, who fought with Brandon Hagel immediately admitted he did not like.

But when the enmity was over, it was clear that Team USA could compete with Team Canada – a group of stars playing for a country where hockey is its national sport and they have proven why many times before.
However, Eruzione couldn’t be more confident in saying he thinks the best team in the world was right in front of him for dinner.
“You’re so damn good,” he said. “Embrace it, enjoy it. Because this is special. I can’t wait to see you play because guess what? The best team in the world sitting right in front of me right now.
“Go out and show it, and take something special back. It’s something you’ll remember the rest of your life.”

It may not be winter -ol – it will be played in Italy next year – but there is a massive feeling of pride that Team USA felt in Montreal, and will definitely feel in Boston on Thursday night when Puck falls in TD – The garden.
