Ethereum-co-founder Vitalik Barterin expressed his disappointment over some of the members of ETH communities and thought it was “bad” that the ecosystem was too welcoming to “casinos.”
During an Ask-Me Anything (AMA) at Tako, buto answered a question of whether he had felt disappointed in the Ethereum Foundation, the Crypto industry or the community. He replied “of course”, especially when others question why Ethereum has not been more open to applications with blockchain games, apparently taking a jab on his competitor, Solana, and how their ecosystem has embraced a lot of Memecoin activity in The past year.
BUTINE COMMENTS COME COMMUNITIES AHEEUM Society has been subjected to setbacks from members raising the alarm that the chain is losing its competitive advantage for rivals if it does not address any core problems, while Solana has attracted more new developers than Ethereum and has creeped top talent .
Butterin also said that if society continues with this “moral turn”, he would no longer participate in the Ethereum ecosystem.
“But I found an interesting point: On the internet, many people will say these things, but when I chat with society personally, everyone’s values are the same as before, so I want to have a responsibility to this community and can ‘it giving them up, ”butterin added.
