Docking stations are a crown a dozen in 2025, but finding one that ticks all boxes can often be a challenge. Fortunately, Memdock G2 is doing just that – and it looks great to start.
Memdock G2 is based on its former iteration, which was primarily designed as a Magsafe dock for iPhones. Of course, it’s bigger than its predecessor, but G2 can still boast an impressive compact frame, making it the perfect companion to a MacBook Pro on a home or cash desktop.
However, it is not limited to laptops and is compatible with desktops and even game consoles, making it a versatile opportunity for both professionals and relaxed users.

Complete with a customized mechanical keyboard – which includes six programmable keys that can be set to your heart’s content – G2 also includes a single control button.
Users also have the option of assigning specific keys to specific features or macros through its complementary app. Docking Station has a total of seven gates. These include a 100W Power Delivery (PD) charging port that allows users to charge a number of devices simultaneously with two USB 3.0 and a USB-C 3.1 port that offers speeds up to 10 Gbps to streamline file transfers.
From a productivity perspective, however, it is where Memdock G2 is a game changer for users. The Docking Station includes an HDMI output that supports a 4K screen up to 60Hz, making it ideal for those with an external screen or mixing and matching screens.
Given that Dock has large power supply options, it also means that fewer cables that throw your home office work station along with additional screens.

However, there are certain disadvantages. While Windows users have complete access to key -adjusting features, MACOs do not currently support customized key programming features. However, Memdock has suggested future updates to expand these capabilities.
