Tarar Slams -campaign against Coas UK -Visits

Islamabad:

Minister of Information Attaullah Tarar Thursday Thursday threatened lawsuits against those who protested and ran social media campaigns against the General Asim Munir’s (Coas) visit to the United Kingdom.

Gen Munir’s official visit marked his participation at the 7th Regional Stabilization Conference at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, where he delivered the main address of “the new world order and Pakistan’s future views.”

The Regional Stabilization Conference is an annual platform that facilitates army-to-arm dialogue between Pakistan and Britain, with the participation of civilian and military politicians as well as key thought tanks from both countries.

Tarar said the whole world recognizes the professional abilities of the Pakistani army, including its officers and cadets. However, it seems that tribute and honor given to the army chief have uncontrolled “Tehreek-E-Inteshar.”

“It looks like how they are anesthetized by Pakistan’s progress led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif,” he added.

He emphasized that the law will take its way and action will be taken against those who harm the national interests of Pakistan.

Tarar declared that Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) is visibly disturbed by the recognition and respect assigned to Chief of Army Staff (Coas) General Asim Munir during his visit to the United Kingdom by the prestigious Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.

During the visit, an honorary guard was presented to the army chief, and Pakistan’s national anthem was played by the Royal Band in Sandhurst – an event that, according to Tarar, further elevated Pakistan’s global status.

In a speech with the media, the minister said the population of Pakistan had confirmed their respect for the country and its armed forces by rejecting PTI’s social media campaign against them.

“This same group of miscreants also tried to disrupt the flow of transfers through social media, but overseas Pakistanis who were responsible citizens continued to support the country and express their loyalty,” he said.

Tarar accused the PTI founder of having Masterminding every anti-Pakistan step and worked against national interests. He claimed that a group of Miscreans targeted military installations burned Jinnah House in Lahore and even description memorials of martyrs who sacrificed their lives to Pakistan’s security.

He also claimed that there are video events proving PTI’s commitment to the events on May 9.

“When they tried to attack Pakistan’s defense, they essentially fulfilled the enemy’s dream – an enemy that has never dared to attack Pakistan in this way,” he noted.

With reference to the PTI founder’s previous statement, Tarar claimed he was facilitating the return of terrorists to Pakistan.

“He openly supported terrorists, as seen in his speeches about international media, where he referred to them as ‘good people’ and talked about bringing them back to resettlement in Pakistan,” the minister said.

“Wouldn’t it be correct to say that the current terrorism issues originate from the PTI founder who changed the state policy to resettle these individuals?” Tarar asked.
