Islamabad:
Defense Minister Khawaja Asif fired a breadth against Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan on Friday and accused the imprisoned former prime minister of going against the country’s interests to achieve his own mention.
In a conversation in an interview, Asif said IMRAN would make the army a subsidiary institution for his support and added that Imran licked his wounds after its exit from the government through a non-conveying movement in the National Assembly in April 2022.
“He was Imran, who had declared army chief as the nation’s father, and now he throws abuse against the one he had once called father,” said Asif, referring to PTI’s campaign against the army chief, who was currently visiting the United Kingdom. “Imran would make Faiz Hameed the army chief.”
On the question of the PTI protests in London, the Minister of Defense declared that Pakistan had important diplomatic, military and economic relations with this country and added that the two countries had exemplary relations in different areas.
“On one side [the PTI founder] Wrote three, four letters, “he said, and on the other hand he protested outside the country and used violent language on social media about any institution and every person.” They did [acts of violence on] May 9 and November 26 with dishonest purposes. “
He said the PTI people tried to sabotage the economy through propaganda. “They are not sincere with anything, nor do they have any obligation. The people of Pakistan are aware of it and they see all this,” he added.
Asif warned that such tactics would not give the government back to Imran. “Pakistan is currently on its way to development, and no strength or conspiracy can harm the country. The army is currently bringing unprecedented victims of the war against terrorism. Such patriotism is unprecedented in history.”
On the other hand, Asif questioned IMRAN’s loyalty to Pakistan. However, he emphasized that “this time must pass and things are getting better”. He added, “In a few months or years, everything will be okay and his chaos policy will be buried forever.”
