The Punjab government has published a significant message to give citizens of world-class travel facilities in the province. The move comes in response to statements from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Information Advisor Barrister Saif, who was dealt with by the Punjab government spokesman and Provincial Minister of Information, Azma Bokhari.
She clarified that the gene paint of the cyclist track, originally performed by a local company on a one -year warranty, would now be changed by the same company.
She said there was no funding from the Punjab government on this work and the project had not caused any financial loss to the government.
By tackling criticism of Peshawar BRT, Bokhari criticized criticism that it had been exposed to several questions in the last five years, including delays and accidents.
She pointed out that the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government is still owing the RS60 billion for the Peshawar Metro project. The case about Peshawar BRT is currently underway by an international court.
Bokhari also criticized lawyer Saif for continuously targeting Punjab with negative comments while giving no information about the Performance of the KP government.
She noted that people in KP still depend on provisional methods, such as crossing rivers in boats and using bicycles to navigate through floods.
With the underline of the government’s focus on modern transport, Bokhari said that Punjab is moving forward with metro buses, the Orange Line train and now the introduction of trams and an underground green line, all aimed at giving citizens international standard travel facilities.
