Michael Novogratz’s Galaxy Digital (GLXY) has hired Zac Prince as CEO, according to an internal memo seen by Coindesk.
Prince works closely with Galaxy’s president, Chris Ferraro, to expand the company’s digital assets’ offerings.
Galaxy believes that Crypto goes into a “pivotal era with transformation” and has hired Prince to help deliver the company’s strategic vision, the company said in the note.
He joins the real estate advice company Re Cost SEG, where he was hired as CEO for the past year.
Prince is well known in the industry. He is the former CEO and co-founder of bankruptcy Crypto lends Blockfi.
Galaxy hired former Point72 Director Anthony Paquette to serve in the same role at the Crypto Financial Services company, it said in December.
