Assassin’s Creed Shadows Have leaked a month prior to the release after some players received physical copies early.
Earlier this week it was reported (via VGC) that the upcoming Assassin’s Creed The title was already out in nature after fans discovered that some players streamed the game and leaked certain items online.
A Reddit post that is currently making the rounds contains screens of someone who was able to buy a physical PS5 copy of the game. They also provided proof that the game was downloaded on their system as well as several photos of those who played as one of the two playable protagonists, Naoe, along with their current load and level.
The version that delicious owner is apparently “a much older building with none of the improvements added from the delays”.
It is not exactly clear how many copies were leaked, but it is claimed that some players were able to buy copies online from third -party sources. A user in the same Reddit thread was able to provide a screen shot of a Facebook marketplace listing offering PS5 copies of the game for $ 100.
Ubisoft has since reacted to the leaks and said that all recordings shared online are not representative of the final product.
“We are aware that players have access Assassin’s Creed Shadows Ahead of his official release, “Ubisoft said in a statement of X / Twitter.” The development team is still working on patches to prepare the experience for launch, and any recordings shared online do not represent the final quality of the game.

Assassin’s Creed Shadowswhich was originally to be launched on November 12, 2024, was again delayed from its new 14 February 2025, the release date in January.
The game will now be launched on March 20, 2025, to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC.
