Potentially # 1 overall election in the NFL draft and the Penn State star Abdul Carter has a stress reaction in his right foot, according to several reports.
The stress fracture was revealed during testing at the NFL combination and the damage may require surgery.
However, after further scans on Carter’s right foot, doctors said Star Defender that the operation is not advised, according to ESPN.

“I couldn’t be more confident that this will be a non-factor where he is drafted,” Carter’s Agent Drew Rosenhaus said on Thursday via ESPN.
“He will put a show on his pro -day.”
Carter, before the discovery of the stress reaction, would not work at the NFL combine harvest due to a shoulder injury. He played through this condition in Penn State’s loss to Notre Dame in the Orange Bowl.
Star Defender was recently cleared to resume training. Carter’s shoulder injury does not prevent him from appearing at a “very high level” in his March 28 Pro Day, Rosenhaus said.

Carter was the Big Ten’s top defensive player in 2024 with 68 tackles, 23.5 tackles for losses and 12 sacks last season.
In his career, Carter has 39.5 tackles for losses, 23 sacks and 14 passports defense.
The 21-year-old is likely to go into the first few elections of the NFL draft, but Carter thinks he should be the top election.
“I feel like I’m the best player in the country and the best player has to be picked first,” Carter said Wednesday, talking to journalists. “That’s the work I’ve put together with my dad who trained me and all the victims I’ve done, I know I’m the best.”
Should he blow up Heisman Trophy -Winner Travis Hunter and the top two quarterbacks in the class, Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward, Carter would just be the fourth defensive player who was a total of No. 1 since 2007.

Jadeveon Clowney in 2014, Myles Garrett in 2017 and Travon Walker in 2022 are the three defenders who have been chosen with the top election since 2007. Each was first chosen because of his pass-rusing ability.
“Defensive players affect the game as much as quarterback,” Carter said. “All teams that have won the Super Bowls. They have the one prominent player. I feel like it.”
The only time shows whether Tennessee Titans holding No. 1 selection is using the top choice on Carter in draft weekend.
