There have been questions about whether the Super Bowl master Philadelphia Eagles would visit the White House to celebrate their title.

President Donald Trump told the spectator on Friday that the Eagles will actually visit the White House.

“They come here. Philadelphia comes here, ”Trump said.

After Eagles won their first Super Bowl in Trump’s first period in 2018, the team rejected Trump’s invitation to the White House.

Trump announced on Tuesday he would expand an invitation.

The day after the Super Bowl, Veteran Offensive Lineman Lane Johnson said it would be a “team decision” to take a white house. Johnson was part of the Super Bowl team in 2018, which got his invitation lifted by Trump after some players refused to visit the White House because of Trump’s criticism of those who kneeled or raised fist during the national anthem in protest of racial injustice and police brutality.

At that time, Trump released a statement to cancel his invitation and said “the 1,000 fans planning to attend the event deserves better.”

“They disagree with their president because he insists that they proudly stand for national Anthem, Hand On Heart, in honor of the great men and women in our military and the people of our country,” Trump’s statement from seven years ago said.
