- Openai will allegedly add Sora to the Chatgpt -Ape
- There is no timeline yet for the integration
- The full Sora experience will continue to be a separate app
After launching in the United States last December and going live for a bunch of European countries earlier this week, Openai’s video -nerforming tool is quickly expanding Sora – and the plan is eventually to put it inside chatgpt -interface.
It is, according to discussions at a company meeting, as reported by TechCrunch. Right now, Sora lives on its own separate site and is not part of chatgpt -apps on web or mobile – apps that include image generation features.
Sora Product Lead Rohan Sahai apparently said Openai is planning to place Sora in several places, as well as to build on the features and tools of the AI Video Manufacturer. However, it seems that Sora will also remain as a separate, independent experience.
The version of Sora located inside Chatgpt may not be as comprehensive as the current web tool, Sahai admitted. Part of the reason why integration is not already in place is to avoid being too much chatgpt -interface.
More on the way
Right now, there is no timeline for any of this, though Sora Inside Chatgpt could help operate more paid subscriptions: Right now you have to be a chatgpt plus ($ 20-in-month) or Chatgpt Pro ($ 200 a month) Subscriber to use Sora.
You get different limits on video resolution and the number of videos you make, depending on how much you pay. Each user gets a certain number of credits each month, and videos that are longer and of higher quality costs more credits.
The same user information is used to log in to both Chatgpt and Sora, so some of the work has already been done. However, the Sora Web site has elements such as a highlighted video exhibition window that would be difficult to adhere to chatgpt.
Sahai also reportedly said that an improved version of the AI model running under Sora is on the way, and said Openai also worked on a picture generator driven by Sora that could produce more photo -realistic images. Keep an eye on.
