- Govt has left the country’s economy on the right track: Sanaullah.
- Says Pakistan, making progress ahead of 1999 Military Coup.
- PM’s Aide previously accuses the PTI government for inflation.
Faisalabad: Advisor to the Prime Minister on political and public affairs Rana Sanaullah on Sunday claimed that Pakistan would overcome the ongoing economic crisis within two years if another “October 12” – a referral to the military coup in 1999 – was not imposed.
The ruling PML-N senior leader made the comments while spoke to a ceremony in Faisalabad today, which was held to distribute minority maps among religious minorities of Punjab.
On October 12, the then Army Chief Pervaiz Musharraf dissolved parliament and removed the then Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in a bloodless coup.
In a speech on the occasion, the PML-N leader said: “In 1999, Pakistan made progress on a quick track under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif, but the incident on October 12 took place and the country threw itself into an unprecedented terrorism and strain.”
PM’s Aide said people in 2013 again voted for Nawaz, and he overcomes questions and put the country on the field for development again.
“The dollar rate was around the RS106, gasoline RS65 and the growth rate was 6.2%, but in 2017 a deeply rooted conspiracy was hatched and a project was launched by removing the PML-N government,” he added.
Sanaullah said the new experiment resulted in an unprecedented price increase and inflation in addition to pushing the country to the brink of bankruptcy.
He said the government was also actively working to reduce inflation, which has already fallen from 40% to 4%, while taking several steps to reduce it further.
The government has left the country on the right track, and it would certainly appear as a strong economy in the world after a few years if the progress of the progress continued and no incident as October 12 arose again, he added.
With reference to the radiance of Prime Minister Imran Khan of Power in April 2022, the PML-N leader said the country faced multifaceted crises and people led a very miserable life when PML-N moved a “without a privacy movement” and saved the country from Standard.
By moving on to the financial difficulties facing the country, he said: “The federal government led by Prime Minister Shehbaz and Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) led by the Chief of Army Staff (Coas) General Asim Munir” did everything to put the country’s finances on the right track.
The government under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz put the country on the road to progress and prosperity after hiding it from default, and it would appear as a strong economy after a few years if the pace of national development continued, he said.
“If the truth is told,” Sanaullah said that three pillars in the state have lost their importance and added that only the fourth pillar, the media, will lead the country forward.
He said the minorities are an integral part of Pakistan as they always played a dynamic role in national development and the government would secure unity and equality across the country.
However, he urged the people in particular minorities to ignore negative propaganda and support the government’s efforts to create an inclusive and prosperous Pakistan for everyone.
