Lahore has experienced light, intermittent rain during the last night and brought cooler temperatures and a welcome respite to the city in the Holy Month Ramadan, Express News reported.
According to the meteorological department, the rain -bearing weather system that affects Lahore and parts of Punjab is expected to continue for some time.
Light rain is expected to continue all day today, even though the intensity is expected to ease in the evening. As the system goes on, weather conditions need to start to get better, with clear sky, which is probably tomorrow.
The rain has brought cooler weather, much appreciated by the city’s residents, although it has caused some disturbances.
The administration has mobilized teams to ensure that roads and underlines remain clear while emitting caution measures for travelers.
In contrast, Thandiyani, Nathiagali, Donga Gali, Ayubia and other hilly areas of Abbottabad received the heaviest snowfall of the season with up to three meters in some areas.
