Lahore:
Lahore High Court (LHC) has issued messages to relevant authorities seeking their response to a petition that challenges the alleged abuse of Punjab government agents for the personal and political promotion of PML-N Supremo Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Maryam Nawaz.
Justice Farooq Haider took the petition into Ashba Kamran, who argued that public funds intended for welfare and job creation were instead used for the political branding of Nawaz and Maryam.
The court then ordered the authorities concerned to submit their answers within two weeks.
