- LEGO’s next slot set is the theme of beauty and the beast
- It is located over 20 inches tall and is built of 2,916 pieces
- LEGO revealed the set on the Toy Fair 2025 and closed its revelations to the show
Whether you are a fan of the animated original or live action recording, Beauty and the Beast is an iconic story in the Disney lineup. And if you are just as fan of LEGO or of castles, the next set that the two brands have joined forces will check out the boxes for you.
Making his debut on the Toy Fair 2025-by the side of River Steamboat and a massive T-Rex-is Disney Beauty and the Beast Castle Building Set. It is the next Castle in Legos Lineup, which joins the classic Cinderella Castle – as made famous by several Disney Parks -, Hogwarts Castle, Lion’s Knight Castle, which is a classic and countless other Disney.
The beauty and the beast, like the classic Disney One, resemble an animal in terms of size and piece of number. It stands 20.5 inches tall, 12.5 inches wide and 6 inches deep, all with the permission of nearly 3,000 pieces – it’s 2,916 pieces to be accurate.
When the building is completed, you have a whole exterior front and a rear that reveals the interior. On the front you can see the four levels and a comb on top with a purple exterior brick in front of the main color. It is filled with a lot of complicated details on the front and on the inside.
Up near the top of the castle, however, you will find the first of many murals that depict the important rose in different colors, although red is prominent here.
When you flip to the beauty and the beast, you can explore all four levels and a side room where you recreate the iconic dance via a spinning floor title between Beast and Belle. And if you look at the top, the actual enchanted rose is held under a glass cover on the interior behind the mural.
The different levels include the dining room and magnificent stairs, so the set will be a real goodbit for fans of the film, the characters, the architecture and the design and the Disney as a whole. Next to the actual set you will of course get the important minifigures. This set includes Belle, Beast, Gaston, Lefou, Maurice, Lumière, Fifi, Cogsworth, Chip and Mrs. Potts. I would bet money on the LEGO team having fun creating these, especially when you realize Gaston is smiling while holding the torch.
There seems to be a lot of Easter eggs in stickers for murals and other elements as well as the book that tells the story of beauty and the beast. You get the instructions for use in the box, but as with newer LEGO sets, you can download the ‘Builder app’ to iOS and Android to see the manual digitally.
You don’t have to wait too long to get your hands on the LEGO Beauty and the Beast Castle set as it will be launched on April 1 for LEGO Insiders members – We promise that it is not a joke and the program is free to participate in – and April 10 for everyone else for $ 219.99 / £ 189,99 / AUS $ 449.99 in Lego’s online store or from a physical location. If you can’t wait until then, we suggest you stream either the animated or live-action beauty and the beast on one of the best streaming services, Disney Plus.
