Meghan Markle’s new Netflix show, with love, Meghan, has so far mostly received negative reviews with both royal fans and critics.
However, PR -expert Renae Smith says it fits her public image as she defended the Duchess of Sussex, who now passes Meghan Sussex.
In a conversation with The expression, Smith explained that the show was not intended to change the skeptic’s mind, but to strengthen Meghan’s fire and appeal to those who already admire her.
While it may not win over critics, Smith said she thinks it will achieve her goal of presenting Meghan as a lifestyle influener that remains in her comfort zone.
“The show was never designed to convert skeptics – it was created to solidify her existing brand and appeal to the ambitious audience that already resonates with her,” she said.
“This is Meghan who stays firm in her comfort zone does what she does best – to be a fully developed ambitious domestic goddess – whether it is well received or does not quite depend on who looks at.”
