Simone Ashley, famous for his role in Bridergon series, debuted with the latest ROM-COM, Imagine this.
In an interview with People magazine, Simone revealed her love for the 90s Rom-Coms inspired her to the film.
The actress said, “I loved all of these ’90s classic rum coms: Something with Julia Roberts, my best friend’s wedding, the other woman, 10 things I hate you, bend it like Beckham, Bridget Jones. Of course I’m such a hopeless romantic.”
“I think rum coms allow people to have the space where you believe in the idea that love is possible. And that’s how I feel when I see them. So being part of this genre was really exciting to me,” Simone added.
It is worth mentioning that Simone also coated Imagine this, To play character Pia as she goes on a journey to find love through five dates created by her friends and family.
As reflected on her experience Simone said, “It was also super fun. I think every project requires another set of focus and attention in different areas. And then it has been such an amazing learning experience.”
“I go away from it and I like, ‘Oh, I could have done more of this or I could have done less of it.’ And you can carry all that experience on the next thing, ”she added.
