- Stranger Things‘Sadie Sink is allegedly set to appear in Spider-Man 4
- Deadline suggests that sink plays one of two major grades in MCU
- I’d like to see SINK play a lesser known superhero in the Marvel movie
Sadie Sink has signed up to appear in Spider-Man 4According to Deadline.
The Stranger Things Star, who plays Max Mayfield in the hugely successful Netflix show, is allegedly due to Star to Tom Holland in the highly expected Marvel movie. Film recording should begin in mid -2025, so it makes sense that messages made would start to leak out via Hollywood’s biggest trade publications.
If Deadline’s report is accurate, Sink, whose star has grown since she first appeared in Season 2 of one of the best Netflix shows ever made will be the first new role crew for Spider-Man’s Fourth Solo movie. The Netherlands, who will recreate his role as Peter Parker and his Super Heldalias, is the only actor who has been confirmed that they will be shown so far. Zendaya, who portrayed MJ in Webslinger’s first three independent MCU flicks, is also expected to return, but it is not officially advertised by Marvel.
I have reached out to Disney and Marvel to comment on Sink’s supposed employment. I’ll update this article if I hear back.
Will Sadie Sink play Mary Jane or Jean Gray in Spider-Man 4?
Per. Deadline’s sources, sink that returns as max in Stranger Things Season 5, plays one of two important individuals in the Marvel phase 6 movie. In fact, the outlets suggest that she wants to produce Jean Gray or, in Deadline’s words, “Another beloved Red-haired Spider-Man character”, which is code for Mary Jane Watson.
The latter would not be a huge surprise, and the sink seems tailor -made for Peter’s fiery, perennial love interest. However, MCU already has a MJ – ie. Zendayas Michelle Jones. Adding another in the form of Mary Jane would only confuse viewers, especially if Zendayas MJ plays any kind of supporting role in Spidey’s next big screen project.
Iconic X-Men member Jean Gray is another good fit for washing. But again, it would be weird if one of the most popular mutants of all time was first seen in a Spider-Man movie. I think many people prefer Gray to be introduced as part of the legendary super team instead.
That said, I could see a situation where Gray appears in Wallcrawler’s next film, which was originally to be released in theaters on July 24, but recently saw its release date pushed back by a week to July 31. Spider-Man 4 is squeezed between the next two Avengers movies, so it is likely to be another multivers-centered movie. If that is the case it wouldn’t be so big shock to see Sink’s Gray, which could potentially come from another dimension, sign up for Spidey’s help trying to fix what’s happening in Avengers: Judgment Dayalias the first of the two above -mentioned Avengers films. Don’t forget, Parker is a genius is his own right so he could have a solution to what Gray needs a hand with.
However, there is another character that is sinking maybe playing, and it is such a left-wing opportunity that although it would be unlikely, it would be an incredibly crowd-kind.
What if – and it’s a big one if – SINK plays Firestar? Not only is she a red-haired superhero, but Firestar, whose real name is Angelica ‘Angel’ Jones, actually has a story with Spider-Man, originally started on the small screen. Actually she debuted in an animated series called Spider-Man and his amazing friendsoriginally sent on the US network NBC in the early 1980s. She has since joined the various Marvel Comic Book series, video games and TV shows. Firestar has also fought with the X-Men before too, so that one of Deadline’s sources could have had their wires crossed. Hi, I live in hope!
If Marvel and Sony (remember that the latter owns the live-action rights to Spider-Man and the characters in his course) really want to set tongues to cradle would hire sink to play Firestar be an absolutely brilliant move. It would prevent viewers’ confusion about the existence of two MJs in MCU, give another opportunity to play Jean Gray Post-Multiverse Saga and introduce the audience to a brand new character in a live-action format. Do so, Marvel and Sony.
