Players: Justin Lower has miraculously couple saved on famous 17th hole

Justin Lower made pairs on the 17th hole in the Players Championship Thursday, but achieved it in an unconventional way.

Lower, 35, made his tee sail across the famous Iceland Green 137 meters away and in the water and needed a miracle to save pairs.

From the drop area approx. 80 meters away, hit the lower one wedge, taking two big hops on the green and slowing down before falling into the hole, saving pairs without his putter.

The 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass is known to be difficult, and this year it has not been different with many players who have already found the water around the island of Green.

However, no one came as good as lower did.

Lower started his round on Thursday with 11 straight pairs, including his pair rescue, and was 1-over through 13 holes after he double the fourth hole.
