It’s official: Ted Lasso dusts his AFC Richmond gear and returns to a fourth season on Apple TV+.
In a press release, Apple confirmed that it has started development on another installment of one of its most successful television originals. Jason Sudeikis, who played the titular American football coach in the first three seasons of sports comedy, will re-establish his multi-prize-winning role in Ted Lasso Season 4 too.
In a statement that accompanies the reveal, Sudeikis teased, which also executively produces one of the best Apple TV+ shows ever made, what to expect from the series’ upcoming chapter.

The revelation that a fourth season is in active development is not a complete shock. Ever since Ted Lasso Season 3 ended in May 2023, rumors have circulated that another rate would be green. Sudeikis, who was talking about Kelce Brothers Travis and Jason, was the new Heights show (see above), confirming that the eponymous football coach would take responsibility for a women’s team in season 4. That means it is incredibly unlikely that any of the show’s supportive role of role, all we fell in love, will appear in love.
Still, at least there will be some continuity behind the scenes. Brendan Hunt, Joe Kelly and Bill Wrubel are all back to the Executive Product Show with Sudeikis. Brett Goldstein, who plays Roy Kent and Co-Penn several episodes of Ted Lasso‘s first three seasons, also return to writing and produce capabilities.
