Lahore: The well -known singer Nasebo Lal has reportedly been subjected to domestic violence by her husband in Shahdara Town, Lahore.
In the first information report (FIR), filed at Shahdara Town Police Station, the singer said her husband allegedly abused, assaulted and committed a “serious act of violence.”
Around 1 p.m. 17 on March 14, she said, her husband, Naveed Hussain came home – located in Ali Park, Garhi Mohalla – and immediately “began to abuse me”.
Nasebo said her husband picked up a brick that was nearby and hit her in the face, causing serious injuries to the left side of her face and nose.
“He often violates with me, but today he assaulted me by beating me with a brick and abusing me and committing a serious act of violence. Litigation had to be taken against him,” she demanded.
The report has been registered in accordance with section 345 (assault or criminal strength to a woman with intention to scandal her modesty) by the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).
