Punjab is experiencing a dry spell where meteorologists predict cloudy sky in several districts tomorrow, but no rainfall.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department, dry weather has returned over the province, including the capital, Lahore. The rising temperatures are expected to be intensified in the coming days.
Lahore’s temperature is likely to vary between 18 ° C at the lowest and 30 ° C at the highest today. Experts say that while clouds will cover parts of Punjab tomorrow, they are unlikely to bring rain.
According to meteorological data, larger cities, including Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad and Rawal Pindi, will see day temperatures ranging between 14 ° C and 17 ° C, while night temperatures at night will be cooler. Moisture levels vary throughout the region, where Sahiwal detects the highest of 84% and Rawalpindi the lowest of 57%.
Murree, the only region with a significantly lower temperature, remains partially cloudy with temperatures hovering about 3 ° C to 5 ° C. However, no rainfall is expected.
In addition, the temporary cloud coverage can provide short relief from the sun, but the total weather conditions will remain unchanged. The prolonged dry spell is likely to contribute to rising temperatures, increasing the demand for cooling measures in urban areas.
Meteorologists advise residents to remain prepared for warmer days to come, as no significant change in weather patterns is expected in the near future.
Sindh remains sunny in the next three days with steady temperatures
