- Saber Interactive has issued a little update on its upcoming projects
- Its games are still under development, indicating Knights of the Old Republic Remake is still working on
- It was originally teased all the way back in 2021
A short flash of potentially good news for those of you excited for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake.
As reported by IGN, Saber Interactive CCO Tim Willits has shared an update on developers’ upcoming projects via X / Twitter. Willits does not mention Kotor Remake directly, but insists that the study’s upcoming projects (which will presumably include the remake) are still under development.
“Saber Interactive is one of the biggest independent developers in the world,” Willits wrote. “We are working on several games across many different genres. All we have talked about is still under development. We will share information about upcoming games when we have something cool to share.”
To become independent of the Embracer Group from last year, Saber Interactive managed to keep his projects including Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake. Given the storming nature of Embracer’s acquisitions and subsequent mass layouts, things looked pretty bleak for a while there.
Although Willits does not directly indicate that it is still a go-front, it is possible that we will receive a more constructive update on the remake sometime in the future. When it becomes, we are not sure and we have not actually had any concrete updates since the first teaser of 2021.
